GUANLIN honeycomb ceramic heat exchange media, high temperature ceramic core for RTO and industrial flue gas heat recovery.
Honeycomb ceramic media with high specific surface area and thermal shock resistance, used as heat exchange and catalyst support media in RTO, RCO and industrial flue gas systems.
Description
Regenerative thermal oxidisers live or die on their heat exchange media. The honeycomb structure gives an enormous surface area per unit volume, so the gas stream can be heated and cooled in a very short bed depth — which means a smaller footprint, lower pressure drop and lower auxiliary fuel consumption than random packing.
Why Choose GUANLIN Honeycomb Ceramic Media
- High surface area per volume — short bed depth for the same heat recovery.
- Low pressure drop — straight parallel channels keep fan energy down.
- Thermal shock resistance — survives the rapid cycling of RTO service.
- High temperature capability — cordierite and mullite grades for different duty temperatures.
- Chemical stability — resists acid condensate and ash attack.
- Custom block sizes — cut to your bed geometry.

Application Scenarios
RTO and RCO oxidisers
The heat exchange bed is the core of the system; media quality determines recovery efficiency and pressure drop.
Industrial flue gas heat recovery
Preheating combustion air or process gas from hot exhaust.
Catalyst support
Honeycomb substrates carry catalyst coatings for SCR and VOC oxidation.
Foundry and kiln regenerators
Heat storage media for periodic kilns and regenerative burners.
Chemical process heating
Corrosion resistant grades for acid-bearing gas streams.
Waste incineration
Heat recovery from flue gas with ash loading.

FAQ
Q1. Which cell density should I use?
Higher cpsi gives more surface area but higher pressure drop; 200 cpsi is a common compromise for RTO.
Q2. Cordierite or mullite?
Cordierite for lower temperature and better thermal shock, mullite for higher temperature duty.
Q3. Can blocks be cut to size?
Yes, cut to your bed geometry.
Q4. MOQ and lead time?
1 cbm, 20–30 days.
