GUANLIN cement plant filter bags, 260°C FMS fiberglass composite, for kiln and preheater dust collection.
FMS glass fibre composite filter bags for cement kiln and preheater exhaust at up to 260°C, with acid and alkali resistance at a lower cost than PTFE media.
Description
Cement kiln exhaust is a combination of problems: 200–260°C temperature, alkaline clinker dust, sulphur compounds and the acid dew point excursions of start-up and shutdown. Polyester dies at the temperature, aramid dies at the chemistry, and PTFE is expensive. FMS glass fibre composite is the pragmatic middle ground that most cement plants settle on.
Why Choose GUANLIN Cement Plant FMS Filter Bags
- 260°C continuous rating — covers kiln and preheater exhaust.
- Acid and alkali resistance — handles SO₂, HCl and alkaline clinker dust.
- Cost-effective at high temperature — a fraction of PTFE media cost.
- Glass fibre backbone — temperature capability with synthetic fibre flex life.
- ≥99.9% efficiency — captures fine clinker and raw meal dust.
- Custom sizing — Ø130–160 mm × 2000–6000 mm.

Application Scenarios
Kiln and preheater towers
The hottest dust point in the plant; FMS is the standard specification where aramid is ruled out by chemistry.
Clinker cooler vents
High temperature with abrasive clinker dust.
Raw mill and coal mill
Mixed temperature and combustible dust; anti-static FMS available.
Cement silo and packing
Lower temperature but high dust loading.
Lime kilns
High temperature with alkaline dust.
Slag and mineral dryers
Abrasive dust at elevated temperature.

FAQ
Q1. Why FMS rather than aramid?
Aramid is destroyed by the alkaline and sulphur chemistry of kiln gas; FMS resists it.
Q2. Why not PTFE?
PTFE works but costs several times more; FMS is the cost-effective choice for most kilns.
Q3. Is a PTFE membrane available?
Yes, recommended for the highest emission standards.
Q4. MOQ and lead time?
10 pcs, 7–15 days.
